South Africa

In 1652, the Dutch East India Company made land in South Africa to build supply base. They developed a vegetable garden for the benefit of the Eastern trade route. Then they made the Cape Colony.

England occupied twice, because they were afraid that Cape Colony would be taken by France.

1910: South Africa independented.
